Inverter Matching Principle for Vertical ESS – Continuous Load vs Peak Load

Capacity alone is insufficient for vertical LFP battery selection; power matching is critical. An 8kWh vertical battery supports 0.5C continuous discharge, recommended with 4–5kW hybrid inverter for 4kW continuous load and 150% short-time peak power. Typical scenarios include critical household power supply and small commercial backup power. In split vertical systems, batteries and inverters are independent; users can upgrade inverters for new loads. All-in-one ESS features fixed inverter power without independent upgrade. Selection tips: calculate total simultaneous load to confirm inverter rating, select battery capacity according to required backup duration, and reserve 20% power margin to prevent overload shutdown.
